The monthly Prayer Diary
is included with the update on the last Sunday of every month, and also available on tables in the vestibule. The prayer diary team would appreciate any items for prayer. These can be handed to Myra (Goodwin), Christine (Knox) or Hannah (Shanks). There is also a pigeon hole in the Elders room where you can leave a contribution anonymously if you prefer OR contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
God hears our prayers and does answer them. Pray without ceasing.

SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB 2015:
Our Holiday Club this year will be Xpedition force as we look at the last week of Christ’s life and reach kids in our area with the Gospel of Christ. There will be two planning meetings about the holiday club, Tuesday 16th June and Thursday 25th June! If you are planning on helping with the Holiday Club, please make plans to attend one, but preferably both meetings or send your apologies to Zach in advance!!
Summer Sundays KIDZONE.
To give regular leaders of Sunday morning Kidzone a break, we are looking to have a rota of helpers to lead Kidzone (primary school age kids) Sunday by Sunday from June until August. Tuesday 14th July, Stuart Townend
will be performing with his band here in Claremont church. Stuart is one of the most inspiring worship songwriters of our generation and we are really blessed to have him perform here in our Sanctuary. We sing many of his praise songs including “Power of the cross” and “In Christ Alone”. Tickets are available priced £15 & £10 for concessions. Available on Sundays or via the office.

is partnering with others in Govan in the creation and production of a community magazine. If you have an interest in literature and writing or you are skilled with a computer or perhaps journalism and graphic design are your thing then please get in touch. It’s a flexible volunteering commitment so whether you have a couple of hours a week to give or a few weeks in the summer, we would love to hear from you. Beatson Cancer Charity:
Martin Russell’s son, Stuart, is again attempting a number of cycle challenges this year with his friends in Whitelee Warriors, including the Etape Caledonia (81 miles in Perthshire including Schiehallion), The Flying Scotsman Sportive 2015 (Graeme Obree – 77 miles in Ayrshire), Pedal for Scotland (Glasgow to Edinburgh, 110 Miles) and the Bealach na Ba (Pass of the Cattle) – a climb that takes you from sea level to over 2,000 feet in 5 miles.
