The monthly Prayer Diary
is included with the update on the last Sunday of every month, and also available on tables in the vestibule. The prayer diary team would appreciate any items for prayer. These can be handed to Myra (Goodwin), Christine (Knox) or Hannah (Shanks). There is also a pigeon hole in the Elders room where you can leave a contribution anonymously if you prefer OR contact us at prayer@claremontparishchurch.co.uk.
God hears our prayers and does answer them. Pray without ceasing.

Study Leave:
Gordon is on Study Leave until 6th July. For pastoral matters etc please contact Philip Wright.

Holidays:
Zach is on holiday from 26th June to 13th July inclusive.

Evening Services:
After this Sunday, we are into our summer pattern for evening services:
Sunday 5th July – Service in Marquee at Heritage Loch.
Sundays 12th, 19th and 26th July will be Joint Services at Calderwood Baptist
Sundays 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd August will be Joint Services at Claremont and
Sunday 30th August will be “Last Sunday at 7” at Calderwood Baptist Church.
All services at 7.00 pm.

Tuesday 14th July,
Stuart Townend will be performing with his band here in Claremont church. Stuart is one of the most inspiring worship songwriters of our generation and we are really blessed to have him perform here in our Sanctuary. We sing many of his praise songs including “Power of the cross” and “In Christ Alone”. Tickets are available priced £15 & £10 for concessions. Available on Sundays or via the office.

Beatson Cancer Charity:
Martin Russell’s son, Stuart, is again attempting a number of cycle challenges this year with his friends in Whitelee Warriors, including the Etape Caledonia (81 miles in Perthshire including Schiehallion), The Flying Scotsman Sportive 2015 (Graeme Obree – 77 miles in Ayrshire), Pedal for Scotland (Glasgow to Edinburgh, 110 Miles) and the Bealach na Ba (Pass of the Cattle) – a climb that takes you from sea level to over 2,000 feet in 5 miles. He would again be grateful for any sponsorship in aid of the Beatson Cancer Charity – please see Martin Russell on Sundays.

Girls’ Night Out:
Hamilton Baptist Church, 23 Kemp Street, Hamilton on 12 September 2015 at 7.30 pm. ‘Early Bird’ ticket (before 12 August) costs £5, Standard ticket £7 or £10 at the door. Girls’ Night Out is an inspiring and entertaining night out for women of all ages fronted by Carrie Grant and Jo Enright. For more information see poster on notice board.
