We are now obliged to follow data protection guidelines from which Churches had previously been exempt. This is a change in government policy, not something we are Claremont or the Church of Scotland are choosing to do. We are no longer allowed to keep personal information without express, written permission being given. Personal information includes eg name and address & so the only way we can keep a congregational membership roll is with folks cooperation in filling in a card that gives us permission to keep your details on a roll. We have, in line with Church of Scotland recommendations, produced cards for members to fill in – these are available at the table at the rear of the sanctuary on Sundays. If you have not yet filled one in, please do so.
Holiday club is over and was a great success! A big thank you to all of our volunteers!
