Welcome Desk:
If you know of anyone who is in or just out of hospital or who needs an elder or staff member to call, please leave the information at the Welcome Desk. We would also appreciate suggested names to receive flowers after today’s or a forthcoming service – call at the Welcome Desk.

The monthly Prayer Diary
is included with the update on the last Sunday of every month, and also available on tables in the vestibule. The prayer diary team would appreciate any items for prayer. These can be handed to Myra (Goodwin), Christine (Knox) or Hannah (Shanks). There is also a pigeon hole in the Elders room where you can leave a contribution anonymously if you prefer OR contact us at God hears our prayers and does answer them. Pray without ceasing.

Gordon is to be on holiday until Tuesday 10th October. Ali Scott is available for pastoral cover.

Third Day:
There will be a break for Third Day services meantime. There will be discussions about a restart in the New Year, but until then there are no Third Day services. For more information, or if you want to say that you will miss Third Day, email Lesley Ogilvie (

Shoe Box Appeal 2017:
Leaflets are now available and we would love you all to take part this year and help to put a smile on someone’s face this Christmas.

Kirk Session:
next meeting is on Tuesday 10th October, 6.45pm for prayer, meeting at 7.30pm. Papers are available now for the meeting.

Safeguarding Training Event:
There will be a volunteer training event on Monday 30 October at 7 pm in the West Kirk. As places are limited and booking is essential any volunteer wanting to go, and especially any who have never attended training, should contact Moraig Drumgold or Mary McKinlay.

Second Hand Bookstall:
Thanks to all who have donated books to the stall recently. It is now well stocked so no more books at present thank you.
