The monthly Prayer Diary:
For 2018 we have decided not to give the Focus Groups a month but to ask that each Group contribute ONE item (at least) per month. If you have a specific date please hand it in as early as possible. These can be given as a bullet point and we will expand. All requests can be given to Myra, Christine or Hannah or left in the Prayer Diary Pigeonhole in the Elders Room. Thank you.

Retiring Offering:
The retiring offering today Sunday, 3 June will be going to Rehoboth Village.

Christian Aid Week:
Thank you to everyone who supported our Christian Aid week collection. The total raised from the ‘red envelope’ collection was £1,302.67. This combined with the monies donated for the Big Brekkie mean that the total donations raised for Christian Aid currently stand at £ 1,605.00. Thank you to everyone who donated, collected, helped with the breakfast and supported our efforts in any way. Your hard work will help Christian Aid support some of the most vulnerable people in our world today.

Items for the August 2018 Clarion:
The copy date for the next Clarion (August 2017) is Tuesday 10th July, which is of course in the middle of holiday season for many folk. So, in order to reduce the likely rush of articles prior to the copy date, or avoid them possibly missing the copy date altogether, it would be a great help to me if any articles etc. that you plan to submit for the August Clarion could be sent as early as possible. Printed materials can of course be submitted via the Clarion pigeon-hole, or handed in to the church office. If in electronic form, items should be e mailed to –

Probationer Minister:
a reminder that from 1st July we will have a full-time probationer minister at Claremont for 15 months. He is David Nicolson: we look forward to working with David, meeting his wife, Victoria and their children. David’s placement here is part of his preparation & training for ministry – not in the first instance, to be working for us. We hope he will be supported and encouraged by as many as possible at Claremont.
