Light a Light:
A service organised by East Kilbride hospice. This service has previously only been on one Sunday, at the hospice, but is now being held on several occasions throughout the town to make it more accessible. There is a service at Claremont, at 2pm on Sunday November 4th. All are very welcome.
Craft sale at Claremont on Saturday 10th November 2pm – 4pm. Bags, hand-knitted goods, pottery, cards, fair-trade goods, soaps, candles, café – and much, much more. Entry is free.
A charity that has been working for 20 years creating music, helping others create music. Fischy have songs that are fun, and which help us to ask the big questions of life and faith. The songs help us to understand ourselves in the context of a God who sees us and loves us exactly as we are. Songs, such as ‘Build Up’ and ‘You are a star’ are part of the everyday lives of children, schools and families across the UK and beyond. Fischy have helped over 100 groups of children write their own songs; over half of Scotland’s primary schools use Fischy Music resources; songs and projects have been featured on national TV and media.
FISCHY ARE COMING! They will be leading workshops and a concert at Mount Cameron school on Thursday, at Blacklaw on Friday and also will be taking part in our service this morning.

Boys’ Brigade Body Shop Evening:
Our BB Company is holding another Body Shop Evening on Monday 5th November at their shop in the Town Centre. The evening starts at 6.30, finishing around 8.30, during which generous discounts can be obtained on many products. Tickets costing £5, including refreshments, can be obtained from any BB Officer.
A talk entitled “Good Health and Wellness for ALL”
by Sir Harry Burns on Thursday 15th November Dalziel St Andrews Church, Merry Street, Motherwell at 7.30pm-9pm. Places are still available.
Calderglen High School Remembrance Service:
Friday 9th November 2018 10.30am – 1.00pm. After service, refreshments will be served and display by pupils from 100 years ago. The School extends a warm welcome to all to attend this event……..please support and come along. For catering reasons, please let Avril know if you wish to go to the event.
