FOCUS GROUP: The next Focus Group series will begin on 10 May and we will be looking at 1 Corinthians chapter 13, over 5 weeks. The material is written by our own Keith Offor and we’re looking forward to un-packing this important passage of scripture, both in the preaching and in the Focus Groups. If you’ve not been part of a Focus Group before, you would be most welcome to come to any of the groups, which meet at various times and places through the week. Details of venues and times are available in the vestibule and from the Church Office. Please note there is an online group on Tuesday evenings at 7pm for anyone living quite far from the church/other meeting locations, who prefer an evening meeting but do not like going out or driving in the dark, or are disabled or housebound. If you would like to join this group please contact Pamela Templeton (pamelat01@blueyonder.co.uk) (07429361789)
PVG: Disclosure Scotland Legislation now requires that any Calderglen Parish member who is visiting a care home (even as part of a worship group) now needs to hold the relevant PVG. Please speak to Ishbel Campbell if this includes you!
“If we knew how to listen to God, we would hear him speaking to us. For God does speak. He speaks in his Gospels. He also speaks through life – that new gospel to which we ourselves add a page each day.” Michel Quoist
